From Scotland are Helen Turner, lead vocalist in the tradition of Maggie Bell and other hard-edged blues-rock singers together with Iain Black on guitars. They have played separately in bands in Scotland then London to join forces in Statesboro Union and Red Road latterly (1994-2000) producing two albums and touring the UK.

From the Midlands comes Trevor Turley bass player and foundation of the rhythm section who learned his trade in Birmingham and surrounds in the 70's and 80's.

From London, Tim and Andy Renton, guitars and percussion have played in various bands together including Reign in the 1970's with Robin le Mesurier; recording on both Regal Zonophone and RCA; followed by the formation of the "Wombles" with Mike Batt in 1974. They then collaborated to write and produce two albums for Decca. Andy has also enjoyed success as a session drummer including working with Barbara Dixon and Hapshash and the Coloured Coat.

Last and by no means least Chris Parren, professional musician on keyboards who has worked with The Strawbs and recorded with a whole list of Artists including Maggie Bell, Hudson-Ford, Jim Capaldi, Judy Tzuke, and been MD for The Rocky Horror Show.
